Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the OQOS VPN service and apps. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

OQOS is operated by MKV IT Solutions Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (Companies House No. 17172181), registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom.

OQOS is a VPN (Virtual Private Network) service, delivered through the OQOS apps and infrastructure. The service routes your device's network traffic through OQOS servers to provide a private, encrypted connection.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use OQOS. By using the service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that your use of the service is lawful in your jurisdiction.

You agree not to use OQOS to:

• engage in or facilitate any illegal activity;
• abuse, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any system or network;
• send spam or unsolicited bulk communications; or
• launch or participate in denial-of-service or other network attacks.

We may suspend or terminate accounts used in violation of this section, including in response to lawful requests described in our Privacy Policy.

An OQOS account is created when you start free access on a device as described below, or when you redeem an activation code in an OQOS app that accepts codes. The OQOS iOS app does not accept activation codes. You are responsible for keeping your activation code and device access to your account secure.

In the OQOS iOS app, free access lasts 30 days and is given once per device. It needs no registration and no payment details, nothing is charged, and it does not renew.

When the 30 days end, the VPN connection in the app stops working. The iOS app has no purchases or activation codes. The same device does not get a second free period, including after the profile is deleted.

In the OQOS Android app, free access also lasts 30 days and is given once per device, with no registration, no payment details and no renewal. When the 30 days end, the VPN connection in the app stops working. The Android app has no purchases or activation codes. The same device does not get a second free period, including after the account is deleted.

Free access offered through other OQOS channels may last a different length of time, which is shown when you start it. It is also free of charge and does not renew.

Paid subscriptions and activation codes may be purchased through channels outside the app. Purchases outside the app are subject to the terms and pricing shown at the point of purchase.

Refunds are handled according to the terms shown at the point of purchase; contact support@oqos.io with questions about a specific order.

We aim to keep OQOS available and reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MKV IT Solutions Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim arose.

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time — see Delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of the acceptable use terms above or as required by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If we change these terms, we will update the date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
